Ages 1.5–2 · Parent–Child Learning & First Sensory Exploration
Centered on parents and children learning together in a safe, nurturing art environment, this stage uses rich sensory experiences, exploration of diverse materials and free interaction to respect each child’s unique pace of growth — so that art becomes the very first language a child uses to know the world.

We teach in small parent–child classes of five families, who take part in every session together.

Children aged 1.5–2 are at an important stage of forming attachments, and feel most secure with familiar people and surroundings. That is why we encourage parents to take part from start to finish, so that their presence becomes a key support as children explore the world.
There is no single standard for finishing, and children are not expected to move in lockstep. We respect each child’s own developmental pace, interests and way of focusing, and through open-ended materials, varied creative experiences and free exploration, we guide children to learn naturally through real experience.
Our teachers act more as observers and guides: they pay attention to how each child explores, and help parents understand their children. When a child needs inspiration or a parent needs support, the teacher steps in with artistic demonstration and interaction, guiding parent and child to discover and create together.
For parents, this is more than a class spent alongside their child — it is a chance to experience art anew and to understand how children grow. Many families have come to truly understand our educational philosophy by creating together.
